Creating Community for Overwhelmed Therapists

After a series of major life transitions, the process of creating community for overwhelmed and Sensitive Therapists helped me shift from scarcity to abundance mindset. Writing Notes with Ease combines community, course, coworking, and coaching all in one place!

Transitions are difficult for most people, but the combination of environmental change + numerous unknowns can be especially challenging for Sensitive Therapists.

Trust me… I know!

During my recent interview on the Coach with Clarity podcast, I reflected on my experience of moving across the country in 2018 and trying to build my private practice from the ground up. I was a fish out of water in a new state without any local supports or colleagues.

Although creating Organize and Thrive during that transition year allowed me to combine my love of organization and creativity, looking back, many of my decisions were based on scarcity rather than abundance mindset. I felt overwhelmed, scared, lost, and alone. I wanted nothing more than to feel connected to others.

An incredible combination of luck, timing, nurtured relationships, and skill led to April Snow, LMFT, approaching me the very same day of the recent podcast interview (in which it became apparent that I was destined to create a group program)! April asked if I wanted to create a course and community together to support Sensitive Therapists. After doing a silent happy dance and allowing the request to sink in, my mindset shifted entirely from scarcity to abundance. It just felt right.

What are your barriers? What are your triggers?  What is holding you back from moving forward?

As a sensitive therapist, have you ever felt…

  • So overwhelmed that you simply shut down?
  • Bogged down by all the admin details and requirements that it took away from your ability to thrive as a clinician?
  • Overwhelmed, worn out, and ashamed of your backlog of notes?

April and I created Writing Notes with Ease to nurture the unique needs of Highly Sensitive Therapists. Our course and additional membership program offers multiple levels of support that includes:

  • A non-judgmental space to identify your internal and external barriers that make it difficult to write notes (i.e. schedule, physical environment, or difficulty separating work from home);
  • A structured course to teach you how to first tackle your current notes system, then chip away at your backlog, and finally create a plan for the future;
  • A combination of coworking + coaching support in the membership program;
  • And lots of support and encouragement from me, April, community members, and of course Bailey the mini Goldendoodle!

Creating community has brought me so much joy, and Writing Notes with Ease is exactly what I need to be doing right now. I’d love to have you join!
